The Electric Prunes are one of the great the 60’s Garage Psych bands. Their Mass in F minor is the best I could find in catholic psychedelia. If you like their sound, the whole album (a whole Mass from Kyrie to Agnus Dei) is a psych gem.

“Kyrie Eleison” later appeared in the movie Easy Rider.

Mind Garage, from Morgantown, West Virginia, are credited with bringing amplified Rock into churches and using it as the music of a functioning religious service. The album Electric Liturgy (1968) was performed in its entirety at worship.
