Kizhi Pogost

Kizhi Pogost (Russian: Кижский погост), 17th century, Russian Orthodox, a pogost is the combination of a church and a cemetery, usually in a rural setting. Kizhi Pogost is made out of the wood of Baltic Pines (Pinus sylvestris) and has two churches, a graveyard and a bell tower.

Kizhi island is on Lake Onega, in Karelia next to Finland, NW Russia.
