Janet Elizabeth Turner (1914-1988) printmaker from Kansas City, Professor of art at California State University, Chico; member of the Printmakers Guild, an all-female artists organisation, ignored contemporary Art movements, instead she found inspiration in the Regionalist movement of the 30’s and the Realist traditions of Nature painters.
